The challenge was to find a timeless garment that all employees would feel comfortable pairing with their own personal style. We wanted to capture the brand’s values in a special customization that conveys the Mediterranean elements that so distinctly characterize these new hotels.
We seek to express the values of Mediterranean life, such as spontaneity—evident in those free-flowing lines and the combination of different patterns that come together to form a whole; freedom and comfort, in the versatile, comfortable garments that everyone can wear as they please; and organic, vibrant shapes, in designs that evoke nature and the hues of the embroidery: blue, calm, pure, sunny, bright, light, energetic, and heavenly. The colors and materials are carefully selected with the employees’ environment and tasks in mind.
As ambassadors of the Mediterranean lifestyle that promotes well-being, Zel is a new hotel chain from Meliá, created in collaboration with Rafa Nadal. Its architecture is inspired by outdoor living, featuring organic and dynamic spaces with a vibrant design.
