Challenge

We needed to create a disruptive product and brand, position it within the textile market, and ensure it stood out in an industry saturated with competition.

Solution

Towards creating a whole. The first step was to create a prototype of the garment to validate the product. Then came the trickiest part: securing funding for the project. So we set about creating a crowdfunding campaign on Kickstarter that would grab our audience’s attention and highlight all the features of the Mantalon. In just 25 days, we raised over €150,000, exceeding our target. Furthermore, the interest generated led to the involvement of partners such as: the Jellop agency (Israel), a leading brand launch agency, and the Nuuk agency (UK), the only internationally award-winning crowdfunding agency. Adaptability is the key to comfort. The garment consists of adjustable trousers that combine comfort, versatility, sustainability and lightness. Their two rows of four buttons mean the garment can be adapted to all body types. Furthermore, all the materials used in the garment are sustainably produced, featuring organic cotton fabrics and buttons made from recycled olive wood, all manufactured in small workshops that are 100 per cent Spanish. It’s the details that make you special. Our intense focus on detail, as well as our commitment to conveying the brand’s sustainable values in every single piece of the project, meant we had to find functional packaging that would convey the essence of Mantalon using as little ink as possible.
