Taking advantage of “La Mafia’s” period of expansion, the brand decided to revamp its uniforms. Until then, its work attire had focused on black and white to convey that stereotypical 1920s Italian image. But they were looking for something different—something that would represent their new take on Mediterranean cuisine and the small pleasures of the Italian lifestyle.
From VRANDED Haus, we proposed a fresher line aligned with the new interior design of the restaurants and inspired by Italian and Mediterranean cuisine. To achieve this, we selected shades of blue, more sophisticated garments, and details such as scarves and badges. The origin of this uniform line comes from extensive research and consulting work. Our team visited the group’s new restaurants and conducted numerous employee surveys to ensure the functionality of the garments. As a result, we proposed a more summer-oriented line to improve employee comfort and designed a style guide to show staff how to wear their new uniforms. “La Mafia” was not only looking for a textile consultancy, but for a partner to support them with logistics, storage, and ordering of their workwear. That is exactly what they found in VRANDED Haus. “La Mafia” is one of the most relevant restaurant chains in the country and now features uniforms designed by VRANDED Haus to enhance its brand identity. A clear example of textile branding combined with our logistics service.
