Kofradía Done Pedro
Sea Weave

The challenge was to revitalise a brand with centuries of history, updating its visual language through design whilst retaining its authenticity and the weight of its history. The collection was intended to bring the Cofradía in line with a more contemporary aesthetic and translate its identity into modern garments.

The collection is based on the concept ‘From the Sea to the World’. Hondarribia is a port shaped by the sea and by the community that has built its way of life around it. Every day’s fishing is part of a tradition that links local work to a wider network of movement, exchange and maritime culture. Building on this idea, we have developed a visual language inspired by ocean currents, schools of fish and the weave of fishing nets. These abstract forms evoke movement and connection, allowing us to reinterpret maritime motifs from a contemporary perspective, moving away from literal representation. The Guild’s historical identity thus finds a new way of expressing itself: the same origins, told through new graphic codes and new garments. The collection is built around a colour palette closely linked to the maritime landscape. Different shades of blue are combined with natural raw, sand and jade green, broadening the imagery of the sea to include the colours of the coast and its surroundings. T-shirts and hoodies feature various designs from the collection, whilst linen shirts in sand, jade green and linen blue offer a more natural and relaxed look. Bermuda shorts for men and women complete a range that allows you to put together full outfits and carry the Done Pedro identity beyond that of a traditional merchandise item.
To bring a brand with over six centuries of history into the present day, transforming its maritime heritage into a contemporary branded collection capable of connecting with new generations without losing sight of its roots.
